Greasing the Groove
Want to know how to get good at something? It's not a secret. You just have to practice it. A lot. I read this article (Greasing the Groove for Strength) and I was thinking "that makes sense." If you want to get more pull-ups, do a lot of pull-ups. If you want to get better at playing guitar, play the guitar. Specificity and repetition is most important.

Hell Yes! Hip Hop Site is BACK!
Damn, it's been down so long I didn't know if it would ever be back, but FINALLY, http://www.hiphopsite.com is back! It looks like the format has completely changed, making it more blog-like. It looks good; I like the new format better. The "In the Deck" reviews format is looking 100% better. I don't have time to write anymore, I've got to go read more hiphopsite. Peace.

Super Bowl Cheese Dip Recipe
Yesterday was the Super Bowl, I'm glad the Saints finally won one. I made some Super Cheese Dip, it is very delicious and easy as pie. Use this recipe, it works:
Ingredients:
Cook the onion and beef together in a skillet until they're done. In a big bowl in the microwave, heat the velveeta and Rotel until it's all melted together, then add the cheddar and heat again. Stir it every couple minutes. When it's done, add the beef, stir it up, and eat it.

- 1 block Velveeta, cut into small chunks
- 8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cans Rotel tomatoes
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 pound beef

My Fitness Goals for 2010
Everyone's supposed to make New Year's Resolutions, and this year I'm going to actually try to stick to mine. Here's my list of fitness resolutions:

- 25 pullups - might not happen since my elbows have been hurting and I'm kinda off these
- 30 dips
- 50 pushups
- 1 minute handstand
- walk on hands 10 feet
- learn to do a cartwheel

My First Post
Hey all, I'm Justin Sweet. I want to use this blog to talk about the things I'm into, such as fitness, CrossFit, music, art, etc. I'm going to try to keep it short, keep it simple, and most importantly, keep it entertaining.
